I am trying to improve my hiring process. Thanks for mentioning that. But I don't agree with you about key takeaway. If I wrote this article for bunch of recruiters, then you would be right. May be I will write another one about that in another publication. But in this publication, most of the readers are software developers. As I wrote this article for them, I think I have focused on right takeaway.
